Let’s see: Terrific game, entertaining commercials, terrible halftime show.
CBS has to be ecstatic.
There was no repeat of the Janet Jackson-Justin Timberlake halftime debacle, a breast-baring that didn’t titillate America but swamped CBS in controversy.
The Who didn’t exactly electrify during this year’s halftime show, but the light show was impressive. If only Pink could have brought her acrobatics to the big show. (Why The Who? The band’s songs are the themes for the “CSI” dramas.)
The commercials were better than usual. The Snickers spot, featuring Betty White, was judged the best in the USA Today Ad Meter. Great choice, and sassy White added to her legend.
The game was thrilling, and New Orleans’ victory over Indianapolis packed an emotional payoff. But the most memorable moment came afterward: New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees held and kissed his baby son. Television thrives on those moments.
CBS delivered another stellar bit with the surprising David Letterman-Oprah Winfrey-Jay Leno spot for Letterman’s show.
The big game was a chance for CBS, the most-watched network, to strut its stuff. CBS’ Katie Couric offered a touching profile of Brees and made headlines with her Barack Obama interview: The president will have a bipartisan summit on health care.
CBS drew attention to “NCIS,” the most-watched drama, with a delirious head-slapping montage.
And there was Letterman in the same room with Leno. Yes, the Super Bowl can produce miracles.

Hi,I’m a professional pianist and I’ve produced a stupid rule that permits me to take a 15 min break each and every 1 hour of practicing. Now, each and every break We’ve to do something completely different, so mostly I go to Google and seek to the recommended last hour blog. It is enjoyable to perform one thing different and to learn about new things every and every single day. BTW, now I’m playing. Grieg. Your site is great, I wish I could remain longer, but We have to have back to play… Following time I’ll arrive to visit again.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much choose the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see connected albums, songs, or other users connected to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one particular of individuals will center on that item, and an additional set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate close to exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also fantastic fun, letting you find other people with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to some playlist produced based on an amalgamation of what all your good friends are listening to, which can also be enjoyable. Individuals concerned with privacy will probably be relieved to know you’ll be able to avoid the public from seeing your personal listening habits should you so pick.
